Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 July 2026
Pebble is a small, calm app — one gentle affirmation a day. It is made by René Vester. This policy explains what the app and this website do with your information.
The short version: Pebble collects nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no ads. What you set stays on your device.
What stays on your device
Your choices — the affirmation you're shown, your reminder and notification settings, your chosen colors — are stored only on your device. So that the widget and the Apple Watch app can show the same thing, some of this is kept in Apple's private on-device shared storage (an "App Group"). None of it is sent to me or to anyone else.
Notifications
Notifications are optional and off by default. When you turn them on, they are scheduled locally on your device. There is no server involved — I never see whether, or when, a notification appears.
Purchases
The optional one-time unlocks — Colors, and the Movement & Household reminder pack — are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes the payment; I never receive your name, card, or contact details, only Apple's anonymous, aggregate sales totals. Apple's own Privacy Policy governs that transaction.
This website
These pages are static, with no cookies, no analytics, and no tracking. Like any website, the server that hosts it may keep standard access logs — your IP address, the time, and the page requested — briefly, only to keep the site running and secure. Those logs are not used to identify or profile you, and are not shared.
Children
Because Pebble collects no data at all, it is safe for people of any age — nothing about a child, or anyone, is gathered.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
